One day, some time ago, I dreamed of creating an audio journey that invites the listener on a trip from the seashore to the depths of the ocean and back again…just to hear what’s there. We know so little about why and (sometimes) how creatures vocalize. This is especially true of marine creatures whose sounds never cease to surprise, delight and engage us. This soundscape features birds, whales, and crustaceans as part of the aural texture of the experience. In addition, we hear fish that are especially active vocally around the coral reefs of the world that are still healthy and viable.
